So I'm doing a whole redesign of my site spartansaving.com, but I'm wondering how to monetize the lady. I'm using adsense and I have it optimized (CTR +15%), but I don't have traffic (40 uniques a day, from 1 site and google and some forums). It's been at this level for a long time and I want to step it up but I'm not sure how. How do I monetize it and get some real traffic?
Hi Kngavl, Looks like you need to buy some links - a good place to start would be on the money websites looking at the content of your site. Your CTR is excellent - perhaps you'd make some headway with AdWords? ...It's always been an expensive option for me because my CTR isn't as high as yours but I think you could do some good arbitrage. Do you post in money forums as well as here on DP? That would be another way to get backlinks. No magic bullet I'm afraid HTH, Cheers, p.
Thanks for the comments, we'll I'm not a very good seller of objects. I do some posting on other forums (paid posting), but I can't see how to expand anymore. At my current rate my worth is .046$ a word, it's been pretty stable like that. I've been looking into and Adwords campaign but for my keywords, I don't believe I could successfully pull of arbitrage (and I don't think I'd do it anyway). My backlinks are around 4K, the sites about 6 months old now.
