Awww.... I can't wait for 11, the movie's suppose to revive the franchise since Enterprise was such a failure.
Why would you end a successful series? Plus, there are hundreds, if not thousands of Star Trek books. So many stories to tell. Its not all from the point of view of 1 person or anything.
I heard that they are recasting all of the roles in the new Star Trek movie with younger actors and the guy that made Alias wrote it. That sounds like the right step ahead to rejuvenate the franchise. It worked for 007 and Batman when they rebooted their franchises.
