Can you recommend a free mp3 host with streaming?

As the title suggests, any decent free mp3 hosts with streaming please?

Free as in free to host your mp3 there, not looking for free mp3s.

 

You can try asking in the webhosting forum, someone might offer you.

well I dont think there's free for mp3 streaming but

I suggest to try band related networks, they let you upload mp3 (original) and stream for free.
I forgot the url / site I've used a year back to host mp3s but its on first page after typing in "band mp3 host" in google.

There is a site called mailboxdrive.com there you can upload music that's streeming all the time all you have to do is just serch for the artist and it will find it for you and you just copy and paste the liks into your website. And if you don't find it there you can upplode it on the website and it dosn't cost any money. all you have to do if you need to upload is te register onto that site.

I want somewhere that will host full length audio dramas (as in old time radio plays). or narrated e-books (as in books for the blind).
Currently there are several high-caliber professional studios (ie. networks) producing full cast audio dramas with sound effects and music. (It's the movie in your mind!). They are also taking TV episodes and adding linking narration to describe the visual effects. (Television for your ears, while you drive!)

So, the 3-minute music host won't do.

I've tried keepandshare and toofiles = easy, no fees, no ads, allows your client to listen online for free. I am very happy with both and recommend them highly. But, they have limits - you can host 5 or 10GB for free. And ~200MB(?) bandwidth daily.

 

You can check any webhosting......

wtf? Like I got here without doing that. Did your reply get truncated? I have no problem finding hosts that allow downloads megaupload, rapidshare etc. I want hosts that allow immediate play of the file as in: newbie can't post links for 7 days - stay tuned, thanks for reading.

 

soundfolder is good..its efficient, fast and add free...

 

I had quite a time finding the soundfolder free login. Soundfolder has a 60 minute limit for free upload hosting. The audio reading of the unabridged novelization of Halloween (1979) is 274 minutes (125MB). And it's a short book.

mp3crib is not free anymore. metracks has a 10MB file size limit & only 200MB free storage.

And to 4tw: 4shared hey, that works streams mp3 uploads!!! and 10GB free storage.

I use 4shared , mediafire and aimini.net for any of my files. Now you can use the same sites for your mp3 files. They offer good streaming options and saving space as well not to mention that they are guaranteed free.
