Please give me some feedback on my new website. It's still under development, but the basic layout is there: www.myworldindex.com Best regards, Boris Lindinger
I like the simple design but you should offer something aside from a joke so that visitor would use your site as the portal, making some top stories for each portal should help
Thanks! I have thought about adding some kind of news feed, but haven't really found the right feed (could be video as well) yet. Any tips/suggestions?
I'm viewing in Firefox, and "Bookmark MyWorldIndex.com (Ctrl+D)" bleeds into the ShopLinc Search box. I think the logo is a bit hard to read, and I'm kind of overwhelmed when I get to the page - I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do first! Best, ~Stephanie
Straight and to the point, I hate sites with a bunch of clutter and you can't even find what your looking for. Good luck with the future of the site!
Thanks Stephanie, I've moved the bookmark for now... I guess I want to make to visitors a little curious and play around in here, but at the same time I want to provide them with useful information/links. Att. sunburst1: Thank you for your honest comment...much appreciated!
I think the font for the logo is find but the links under it are hard to ready... maybe something a bit simpler... Site is wide, maybe tighten it up just a bit...
Not digging the font for the domain name so much..but that is preference. I've read numerous web design sites and they all say that you shouldn't have an undercontruction graphic on your page b/c basically all of our pages are always under contruction. We constantly update and this they should know by seeing it. If the site is not ready then just redirect to something that is. At lease point it to a site where you can be an affiliate of and make some kind of cash for your referral. Thats just my two cents, but other than that.. lay out is fine.
simple site but complicated to understand , there is a bit of re arrangement you could make, all in its a good site
Don't like the banner at all, I think all links should start with a capital letter as it looks much more professional. As already mentioned I think re organising your page will go a long way.
Hi Roosta, Actually I've used the font 'Copperplate Gothic Light' for the sub-categories links, and my browser it correctly. I guess the font doesn't work on all browsers? By the way...'Copperplate Gothic Light' is ALL CAPITAL letters. Anyone who knows something about that? And is anyone getting the right fonts on their browser?
hmm. Design, it's awful. Try looking for some CMSs instead of coding everything yourself (which I think you did).
