Hey everyone, I have wrote a couple articles and posted them on a few of the big sites and must say it is time consuiming! SO was wondering is it OK to use an auto submit program / software or even one of the websites offering to submit your articels? What is people take between manual and auto? Also, if there is any good auto submits which is a good site or program?
Nothing bits manual submissions. Those sites not having captcha support are mostly dead and automatic submissions can only submit to them. If you want good results for your time & money go with manual submissions.
Yeah manual submission's good, but I've heard that there's software that can do pretty much everything, including submitting to popular directories, automatically but stops to let you enter the captcha image. This can be really efficient, don't you think? Though, I personally know of no such software.... if anyone can make suggestions, that'd be cool.
I suggest manual submissions also for a very specific reason: not all article directories are made the same. Some allow in-body links in articles and some don't. If you use software or a submission service then you have to cater to the ones that don't to get accepted, and so you lose the opportunity to have in-body content links on the ones that allow them. By doing it manually you can make the most of every directory based on their guidelines. Another thing with submission services is that they don't all provide you with an individual login to each directory. That's bad because what if you have a great performing article but 6 months from now want to change the link in it? Either do it manually yourself, or find someone here at DP who will do it manually for a few dollars for you if you don't have the time. That's my advice.
It's tempting to go for the time-saving tools, but personally I like to know that my hard work has been submitted correctly into each directory and is in the correct category. You can never be 'quite' sure with automation can you???
I use Artemis Pro for automated article submissions, but I don't mess around with posting to the big article repositories and instead focus on real ezines, newsletters and topical sites in my market.
I use manual submission and i only submit to 4 of the article directories, namely SearchWarp, ezinearticles, goarticles and articlerich.com.
You don't need to submit to every article directory on the web. In my opinion, you could probably do well only submitting to EzineArticles, but it's best to submit to the top 7 or 8 for good measure.
Submit manual to the major article directories and use automation for the lesser ones. It amazes me how much traffic I pick up from the automated submissions.
hi, according to my experience its waste to post articles in every article directory. It makes our articles as a spam to search engine and hence all those articles will be moved into abeyence. And hence they are not at all worth. So just try only top 3 to 4 articel directories and submit the articles manually. If you are trying different articels then go for the top 15 articel directories. If you are really concentrating on article marketing then just hire a freelancer and then ask him to rewrite the article in different forms so that search engines dont think that you are spamming. Then try to post each article in one article directory. So doing like this, you get good link in different sites.
Just some follow-up thoughts on this, but I think it ultimately comes down to what your goals are with the articles. In my experience I get better backlink strength from just a couple of the best known directories, but I get more overall traffic by submitting to the lesser known ones, which I think is because more folks who run auto-blogs/sites syndicate from them so you get a wider exposure. That's just my theory though. Since my goal with article marketing is to maximize for both backlinks and traffic that's why I submit to dozens of directories, and I've already posted why I manually submit above so I won't regurgitate that here again. Something to keep in mind when submitting to lots of directories is you don't have to submit to all of them at one time, and it can be a good idea to not do that. I've had great success with submitting a single article to just 3 or 4 directories every couple of days.
