These are going to be gone in a few days probably, get some while they are still available. Jamptap has a startling graphic showing how fast these have been registered in the last week, it has gone from around 20,000 to less than 6,000 in only a week! Domain Magnate has a list of the available NNNNN.com's (as of a couple hours ago, a few hundred have been taken since then even.
Yeah, like all those non-premium LLLL.com's. Who in the world would be dumb enough to think anyone would pay $60 for JXQZ?
Actually some of these are very valuable, I might snatch them before someone else does, but there are some of these that are suprisingly very brandable.
I just wondered if anyone knows how these names can be marketed when developed? How do you explain to someone that they go to whatever.com by using the numeric keypad... etc?
Well, the Chinese use numbers a lot. As someone said, their lucky numbers are 3, 6 and 8. As for using the numeric keypad to write something... I don't get that either. I think it's better to target the Chinese numbers than to have a word behind those numbers.
All decent and meaningful combinations are gone. So for now,I don't need to register any unusual 5NNNNN.com,unless some registrars offer any insurances about 5NNNNN.com domains to be sold over 5$$$$$ dollars within 5YEARS LOL ! JK !
ah I see, they're worth something because mobile phone users can easily type them! For a minute there I was like WTF!?
Check out recent updated on NNNNN.com countdown http://www.domainmagnate.com/nnnnncom-countdown/ Less than 3500 remaining now
Amazing, I never thought this would turn into such a frenzy! What's next, 6 letter NNNNNN.coms? Myself, I registered a few that were left that spelled common first names, and interestingly, my first name was still available so I now have that LOL. I avoided corporate names since if this catches on at some point, they'll try to obtain them, then you'll have to release them, blah blah blah. For me, it was a just-for-fun exercise, so I'll park them and see if they generate any traffic. Good luck to all who purchased any. ~tasty
I think eventually the NNNNNN.com's will be gone too, but probably will take longer, there are 1,000,000 of those and only 100,000 of the NNNNN.com's. The LLLL's are all gone and there are about 450,000 of them, so there are a lot less NNNNN.com's available than LLLL's. I think a corporation would have a hard time getting its "numeric" domain back from you in a trademark dispute unless you were using it improperly. 46632 is a string of numbers that could mean "Honda" but it is just a string of numbers. They would have a very tough time getting it from you, would probably just pay you $$$ if they wanted it.
