.co.uk domains

Has anyone registered a .co.uk domain recently? (in the last few weeks).

I'm with namecheap and they are having trouble with the nominet's UK registry or something so I'm not sure if it's just namecheap or all registrars but I could do with grabbing a few domains before they go.

Took a look at your site (if it's the one in your sig), would cost me USD 12.99 per year to reg it with you.

I did want to keep every with namecheap so it's in the one place. Just hope they hurry up

I thought you can't have any privacy protections on .co.uk domains aside from opting to have your details (except from your name) removed from the whois search.

I do not have our own .co.uk domain but you can check 'Privacy Protection' for 1websiteshostingpromotions.com It protects all the details *not only the name* and this is safest way to avoid spam.

My company (not the link in my sig) is a member of Nominet and there are currently no issues with registering or modifying UK domains.

Cheers, I'm trying to get it sorted but the live help at namecheap isn't very helpful.

Infact they are terrible, the same person keeps telling me to "wait one sec" then they never get back to me. Talk about being professional...
