Did you like my Domain ?

Hi guys

After doing lot of work i earned 7 $ and bought a Domain - Songwala.com

Now many of my friends are telling that this is a cheap name for your site
as i am gonna have a hindi (indian) song site.

So plz tell me did you like this domain or not ?

Yah Wala means a seller of a particular product like - Fruitseller we say - fruitWala in india

 

Well I'm not sure if mixing an English word + a foreign word is smart. It can be branded, however. If you are planning on developing this into a big site, I'd suggest you get the typo as well.


I'd say reg fee due to the mixing of words.

Ya i was looking for a typo but i didn't get ne other good domain of song and i wanted a word Song in my domain coz of SEO.I am going to have very huge site of hindi songs in India so i thought this Domain coz in india there are some big company's which has 'Wala' in there name.

some one will shutdown your site if your site becomes popular

 

People who speak Indian won't know what song means, and people who speak English won't know what wala means. All an all you might as well use oiasdbvoi.com <- I don't know what that means either.

its just a simple domain name. if you develop this domain into big site and good content then it will worth even more and can be popular but without any content it is useless.

 

It's a good name IMO. Short and easy to remember for the English speaking and it has the advantage that "wala" means something in Indian that suits.

It is not the name what is important, it is your ability to build a quality site and make it popular matters. There are a huge number of extremely popular sites with crappy names and there are even more sites that you would click away from the moment you see it that have great names.
