Hi friends, i`ve locked balance from Nov 2007 from "PokerRoom & Fun.PokerRoom.com" and when i contacted cj support they told me that the advertiser didn`t fund his account till now so cj wont be able to pay me, what can i do with this ****? and anyone has the same issue ?? Thank you!
Welcome to the club. PokerRoom owes me more than $4,500 since November. I tried contacting their affiliate manager. The answer I got was that There was a high rate of fraud and becuase of that they've decided to hold payments until they figure out what's going. Basically what it means is that we'll never get paid. At the moment, PokerRoom appears on CJ as an expired advertiser. I have their affiliate manager phone number and I'll contact him tomorrow. Will keep you guys updated.
They were listed very recently.... As someone who loves CJ, I hope this gets cleared up by CJ or Poker Room. It's unfortunate that CJ got tied up in the middle of this...
sorry if you guys got scammed but life goes on any one for a link traide check my signature and Pm if you have a poker related website you would like to traide links with.
Had a talk with PokerRoom's affiliate manager yesterday. He claim's they paid everything they owe for 2007 to CJ and it's actually CJ who doesn;t transfer payment. Well, I called CJ and they claim PokerRoom has a negative account balance and that's the reason affiliates don't get their money. Well, someone here is lying. I'm planning on arranging a conference call between PokerRoom and CJ. Should be interesting. But anyway, not much chance of seeing that money anytime soon. Thank god my traffic is SEO. hardly spent any money on that advertiser. But it's a shame this is how things work.
hey there, regarding outstanding CJ/PokerRoom.com commissions, how were you guys getting paid? on a CPA or profit share scheme? A lot of poker sites have had CPA fraud recently and this *may* be the reason.... let me know! MOG
nope, its been like that since September 2006, however a few unscrupulous webmasters (well, more than a few ) have recently been scamming poker sites out of CPA.
PokerRoom has offered a CPL (Pay per lead) program on CJ. You're propably right about the fruad leads. this is actually the reason they left CJ. But still, It's not much of a problem to find out which leads are frauds and to simply not pay for these leads. PokerRoom should not "punish" all their CJ affiliates for it. For example, my traffic is 100% organic. I'm ranking No.1 for major poker keywords in Israel and I except PokerRoom to pay what they owe. They should have anticipated there will be a huge amonut of fraud players in a program like CJ.
Yep thats fair enough mate. Have you considered doing a %share agreement rather than a CPA deal? it ultimately works out more profitable for the affiliate.... check out my sig link for instance
