U.S Government plans to shoot down SPY SATTELITE before it hits earth!

I just heard this on CNN. Pretty interesting stuff. They say the information that is on this satellite is highly confidential. Do you think that's the main point of them shooting it down? What do you think is on it information wise?

well, it's a spy satellite, so it's obviously some secret stuff they don't want others to know they know

anything really. Maybe certain people, maybe China, Russia, Iran or other countries. Maybe military facilities, industrial facilities. Anything someone would want to keep away from other people's eyes

Yea, but they did it in a really stupid way because they did it only to test their missile, not thinking of consequences. Now a lot of that debris is orbiting the Earth and is at risk of damaging other Satellites including commercial ones.

 

I think they should blow it up just seconds before it hits a major metropolitan area. They can do that. I saw it in a movie one time.

I just watched TV, and Russian side said that it seems batteries arent noticeable on the sattelite, that means it might have a nuclear fuel, oh, well, I just hope it wont harm anyone.

The satellite never worked, the reason they are shotting it down is to prevent that fuel that operates it from releasing to the area where it crashes.
