CPM Companies for the little guys?

I'm just starting out with a gaming related forum that's been steadily growing as I keep putting up new content...however, I'm using Adsense and I haven't seen great results so far. I've been getting paid as little as $0.05 per click, and I don't seem to be getting CPM ads.

Is there a company out there that has bare minimum requirements for traffic (I only get about 500 uniques a day as of right now)? I'd like to find something that could pay me at least $1.00 CPM that I could use along with Adsense, which is a bit better than what I'm averaging now. I do realize that I should be more concerned with growing my site -- and I am -- but I'd like to get some money coming in to cover the forum license and hosting expenses.

    Thanks!

See if you can sell something via affiliate marketing ...

Adsense is crap. Ive never had success although you need a lot of patience!

I got approved for Morning Falls, which is doing a $25 bonus promo right now ($50 minimum), is promising $1.50 CPM and claims to be targeted towards gamers....too good to be true, lol. I'm putting 1 banner of theirs on my site today and will update people as to how it works out.

Does anyone know any firsthand CPM networks that I could start out with? I will use your affiliate code if the company looks appealing and reputable enough to give a try.

I am with adversal but their pay is around .9/CPM for US, UK, and Canada traffic and lower for the traffic from the rest of the world. I too would be interested to hear about good paying companies.

Update on Morning Fall, I wouldn't recommend it...they display adult ads and it's pretty confusing as to how to successfully get them off. It's begging to have your Adsense banned, so I'm bailing out of it.

Tribalfusion? Casale Media? Go through their FAQs to see traffic requirements.

I am doing the same and i dont worry about ANY ads yet. I grow it until it gets like 300 visitors/day and then i think of ways to monetize it. Dont stop the growing success by putting up ads too early. My 2 cents.

I use freedomofads.com. They are pretty good. The key is not the cpm for 1 ad, but the ability to put multiple ads together to get a higher combined cpm.

Pay-ads is crap, their ads sometimes take you to another site without even clicking on it.

Many cpm companies that pay alright money don't accept forums and even if they did you will only get around $0.50 - $1.20 CPM I would think. There may be a few smaller ones that accept forums, but then you are likely to receive around $0.05 - $0.35 CPM and not the $1 CPM that you would want.

Well, I'm not too worried about CPM anymore...my CPC's picked up and I'm making more than $1 CPM now. ^^

I'm targetting the traffic I'm looking for, and they're converting nicely. Making more now since I've partnered up with CJ. :)
