Super Smash Fan Site: Template Review

Do you think the banner is too tall (thinking about making it half the height).

Is the menu location good or should it be above the banner?

The site is not complete because I don't to fill it with content without a clean template.

Let me know what you guys think and what should be changed. I'll post images of my other designs as well.

 

i think it looks very neat, i would get rid of the black line on top though.

I think the menu is in the right place and i like its header, it gives a fun feeling

 

I'd make the banner a little smaller, it takes up almost half of my page - if I don't have to scroll down to see what's on the rest of the page I'd be happier.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I run in 1680x1050 so it's all pretty small, but I assume most people are in 1024x768.
