Does everyone else have like fifty billion amazing ideas?

I have a folder on my Mac and each document in it is an idea for like some great sites, but they're all fairly big projects, so it's hard to choose which to work on first.

Anyways, does everyone else have like fifty billion ideas constantly circulating through your mind? I just can't help but think of things that I reckon would be very popular (not youtube popular, but still very useful sites)...I just don't have the money to get them launched. :(

I'm getting one of the smaller ideas programmed currently. If I can prove it to be a success I'm hoping I can get started on some other projects and hopefully get some small-time investors interested.

Making ideas are all free, giving it shape and making it real need investments, consistency, motivation, inspirations, time etc etc.

    Yep, same here. :)

Then pick one that doesn't require money and get going! Money will follow :)

    >_> Great ideas need money.
Sure, I have some good ideas that can be launched with little investment. But I've done that, and am looking to move onto bigger things.

I used to have a lot of idea when I was a kid, but as I grow older I seemed to forget them. How ironic!

It is the same here. I've got tons of ideas and even tried to find some investors. You may try as well. If the ideas are worthed you will succeed. Good luck! :)

I have many, but I work them out on a white board for which are the most profitable.

You get to a point where you are not as "hungry" so nickel and dime money making ideas are not as attractive as the bigger money one's. Especially when it comes to time and resources.

I find that when I'm working on a project I don't really have too many ideas coming into my head. So maybe you should choose one and get to it!

dturnbull, my suggestion to you would be: If you're really getting tons of unique ideas, sell 'em off ! A lot of companies buy ideas! Check out some websites like - Idea Trade Network -> newideatrade.com ,etc. I'm sure you could make some cash outta that :) Good luck !

I was thinking about suggesting the same. Perhaps you could start some sort of website that brings creative ideas (don't know how that could be monetized though :)). If you can find out a way to get money out of it.. then perhaps you've find your niche?

Or - perhaps you can start giving biz ideas to other people and charge consulting fees ;)

Stop whining. What have you been doing so far, beside wasting time on DP?
What do you know about computers and what can you do with/on computers, beside clicking on mouse buttons?

dturnbull, you should check out cambrianhouse.com - its a great place to get your ideas out there, and collaborate with other users on how to get them from the brain to the bank.

I also have a blog (thats in the sig) that talks about new websites, and then I get their founders to give tips to entre"pre"neuers. You can also find resouces there.
