What more can i do with my VPS ?

    Hi guys, i have i question here -
    What can i use my account on virtual private host? i do have more bandwitch and diskspace! So i'm interested in what more do i can act on that VPS - a torrents server or ?

    how can i use all the advantages of a VPS?

    will high appreciate your answers :)

    Give out free hosting to others in exchange of posting in forums! or maybe a file or image hosting site.

    hmm... not bad idea, but still- i dont have so much diskspace to share my host with others... some one has say that i can make a torrents server on that, is that true?

    You can use anything, is like a dedi server but with less power, try with a ventrilo or teamspeak server

    That depends. Please read the TOS/RUP of your webhost to see whether torrents are allowed.

    You can install anything on your vps, but if these software breaks your vendor rules, you will be in trouble. Many hosts do NOT allow torrent, IRC-related things, cause they lead to illegal stuff or attacks

    gate2vpn is right, you can pretty much install what you like as long as you follow their agreements. You may or may not be able to host proxies/torrents, etc.. but perhaps you can. The great thing about a VPS is having root capabilities and full SSH. If a host is using SSH at a shared level, it's time to run... There also is jailed SSH which is toned down.
