Hey guyz! I was just wondering which site mapping software do you use. I use CoffeeCup Google Sitemapper. Is that good? Can you guys help me? Thanks a lot in Adv
I tried loads including Coffeecup. I now use the one in my sig. It's the best I have used. Here is an example sitemap http://www.getonmyspace.com/Sitemap/sitemap.html Generates in about 3 minutes.ALL of the pages in my sitemap are included in Google (and even a few more that are not in there) http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:www.getonmyspace.com&btnG=Search
Thats the free version. The unlimited version runs on your own server is easy to install and you can use it on many domains. It even finds your broken links. The best 20 bucks I have ever spent!
I use http://www.xml-sitemaps.com to create my sitemap Here is the list which are all free http://www.vigos.com/products/gsitemap/ www.freesitemapgenerator.com www.writemaps.com http://gsitecrawler.com/ http://www.auditmypc.com/free-sitemap-generator.asp
thanks alot guys, im gonna check out those that you posted here and i'll let you guys know what i went with Amar
xml-sitemaps doesnt seem to be working anymore? Im getting errors in Webmaster Tools a day after submitting a sitemap from xml-sitemaps, it says a required tag is missing.
I'm using GS Site Crawler. I've got to look through the sitemap pretty closely before I submit, but it does get most of them - I've just got to clean out some unexplained links before I submit.
Earlier I also used those free online sitemap generator, but after getting in touch with GSiteCrawler, I forgot all other online sitemap generator. Its simply great!!!
xml-sitemaps.com is soooooooo Slow for huge websites eat Cpu and BW too . it s perfect for small sites i guess .
I agree with you mecho. XML-sitemaps is very slow & only suited for smaller size website. The site also has a limitation of 500 URLS.
I use PowerMapper. Here's a part of their little spiel: "It is used in 43 countries, by 25% of the Fortune 100, and major organisations like NASA and MIT." They have a 30 day free trial here: http://www.powermapper.com/products/mapper/index.htm
