These pay per post sites are just middlemen anyway. They take a percentage of your profit...and do nothing. I got more business through making a review writing thread then I ever did with those sites and I received ALL the money that I earned.
ya better to say no to smorty they are irresponsible and rude plus there all from india and can barely understand english they jacked 24$ from me and didnt give me any posts in return
thehotb - why didnt you raise a paypal dispute? You probably still can. I feel your pain , but moaning and doing nothing about it doesnt help. Raise a dispute and go after them buddy! waxing , I agree with you.. they take a cut .. but when starting off , paid bloggers may need to build a portfolio using these sites. Then start advertising here at dp :0)
No , you need a blog to post the blog posts. There are rules you need to have a look at on the sites themselves. I dont think you can use a Free Blog Host with them for example. Not 100%
I am raising a dispute ill let you know how it goes. they might be fine for bloggers, but their business relies on advertisers, the people who pay them... They will soon relize their business will hit rock bottum in a few weeks when zero people want to advertise with them. Then you will be out of business
Portfolios are certainly important, but after having no luck with these sites, I created a thread here at DP and started selling reviews. I did a few reviews on websites and the like first so that I had some examples, I did a couple for free on the thread and got some reviews, then I started taking orders. I, by no means, made a lot of money, but I received all of the money I earned and all of my customers were satisfied. Showing that you can write is a lot more than displaying a portfolio...this is very important and a great selling point, but if you write well in your forum posts, blogs, etc., you can get by without having a list of URLs. Sometimes you have to work around what you are given, ya know? My blog didn't meet the requirements for Smorty and some of the other sites at the time, so I found another way. I probably still couldn't get accepted...my blog lacks PR, but I am actively working on that. I don't feel that I should be penalized as a writer because of PR requirements, themes, etc. It doesn't reflect on my ability to provide an honest review that includes a nice screen shot and several backlinks. That's just my opinion...it's rough starting out.
What are their blog requirements, and how can I get my blog up to spec ? Dunno what I'm really doing wrong, but I've been turned down by payperpost.com. Perhaps someone who knows about this could check out my blog and give me some tips ? (its in my sig)
This blog post has a lot of info about the requirements of various pay per post sites. Hope this helps.
This Blogging looks like it could be profitable. I will see about setting up a Blog in the near future. Howard hsmith34
Payu2blog is one of the best systems since all of their offers don't have as many requirements like PPP does. And of course the on time payment every other week is nice.
is preference given to blogs with pr? i mean, if i join, do i even have a chance at getting a job posting if my blog does not have a pr?
Not at all, This little blog I created a year ago has been a money maker with payu2blog consistently.
For Payu2blog - http://www.payu2blog.com/blogger_faq.htm For Smorty - http://www.smorty.com/g/7165/blogger-rules.html What ive seen ( trying to answer questions from above..) Ive submitted sites with and without PR and had most accepted. However sites with PR2 or less tend to get less Posts assigned to them. PPP is a complete Joke. I sit in the zone where I dont actually have a blog post which I write as me personally ( if that makes sense..) I have a variety of blogs where Im writing as someone else purely to make money. You might think that Im fooling advertisers , but Im still providing a backlink in a natural post with orginal content on a Blog with PR. The trick when writing these ( and it varies from advertiser who will request otherwise ) is to "slot in" the keywords you need to blog about. Ive written about hair pieces and womens PMT on a finance blog! Along the lines of: "... With so many of our Business associates experiencing something similar to PMT problems when they come visit out offices and blah blah blah ..." Where PMT problems is the anchor link to the Advertisers site with PMT Products.. Get it ? Some Advertisers will want you to specifically comment on Product etc.. but once a backlink is provided and a post written in some kind of context - All should be good. Great to hear others experience of Payu2blog - Yes they are great Payers!
