Hello! I am a member of a resell rights site, and there are lots of ebooks and software products available with resell rights. My only problem is that I don't know how to correctly set up a sales page. I know how to edit a web page with Front Page but I have encountered pages that I could not open with Front Page and the only alternative was working directly on the html code (scary!) What I need to set up are the following : 1) Paypal order button and how to set up the right code for Paypal. I went to Paypal, but it was somehow confusing with all the options like shipping, etc. -things totally unrelated to what I am doing. 2) After purchase, how are people redirected to the usual thank you page where they can download the ebook or software? Is there a report or ebook that will clearly describe how to use and set up resell rights products, for someone who does not have much experience? I have noticed that almost none of the resell rights product sellers bother to explain how to set up correctly the sales page, the thank you page, etc. they assume that the person who buys the resell package will know exactly what to do. I use Winscp it is a free tool that you can download from winscp.com It will upload your sales page to your site. You can edit your sales page with Nvu. It is a free html editor I find it much easier to use than Frontpage. You can download it from www.nvu.com I find using scripts can be a real pain. I use E-junkie there domain is www.e-junkie.com You can setup in 5 mins. It does cost 5 dollars a month, but is well worth the ease of use. Also the download speed is much quicker than what your site can handle as this was made to download software. It handles virtually all payments like Paypal and 2Checkout. I used a script before, but when I started adding multiple products it became a pain. Hope that helps you.
Thanks again for the help. The only thing where I have a problem is the Paypal script, since most resell rights products already provide a ready made sales page, and I also have no problem uploading pages to my web site. The only problem is setting up the Paypal code correctly to accept payment and to redirect buyers to the download page after they have made their payment. Thanks again for all the help, Robert
