For me, less then 2 hours left... so i need inspiration what to do for Valentines?! i think everybody will go to restaurants and will buy flowers and things like that ... what else can i do ?!
It's another fairly common gift item, but has always been happily received in the past: a stuffed animal. Anything cute, cuddly, and furry should do the trick.
Plan on getting my g/f a bottle of her favorite perfume, cleaning the house real nice, and cooking dinner.
Relive your first date with attention to detail, give her flowers when you get back to the apartment/house/hovel and surprise her with all your memories. It will make her feel special. If you can't remember your first date, than follow j0ned's advice. (Don't have a girlfriend but am a girl so yea.)

I'm a Brit in Eastern Europe, trust me I can get as much as I want All of these crappy things like valentines day, fathers day, postmans day (okay I made that last one up) are just commercial crap to sell you stuff you dont want. Do you really need a specific day to show someone how much you love them?
Make dinner yourself, some of her favorite flowers. The end. I agree, the rest is commercial crap, just be thoughtful.
