Aside of typical file hosting sites, youtube sites and stuff .. what is the big thing that can be started using a capital of $50,000? May be you don't like to share your dream idea, but still ... what you think is good to do with this?
I'd put 25k away in the bank and learn about the stock market, and invest small(ish) amounts ($1,000 - $5,000) in stocks, and take some risks if I lose in the stock market game, I still have 25k to invest in safe, slow-coming returns
Il just buy existing websites on DP. Last one i bought was $260. It has made me over $1000 in 3 months with no work what so ever. I just tweaked the Adsense a little. Took me 20 minutes or so. Similar thing with the proxy. $60 turned into $500 within a few months without any work what so ever.
Could you post the site? That sounds like a great idea if we are able to get that kind of return. Great work!
Intelligent response. I am doing that, but meanwhile, I am looking to invest into a couple more things. I don't want to keep all my eggs in same basket.

I always wanted a site that sold contact lens. I have seen the success of some of the lens sites out there and I wonder how much someone would need to spend on the site itself never mind inventory. Im sure well over $50,000!!
A site itself probably wouldnt cost more than a couple of thousand. No idea on stock costs, I dont wear glasses/lens so no idea how many different kinds there are.
If you already have a site and want to diversify away from the internet, then you can become a lender on prosper.com. The returns you get from loaning other people money will be higher than bank or stock returns.
