    Vague much?
If you've got a specific question you'd be better off asking it.
What is it you want advice on?

Please edit your posts, instead of posting stuff in a row.

With forums you can sell membership subscriptions, affiliate products, links... (m)any things.

It's all about time. To set up a business on the web and make money out of it, you will need to aloud a lot of time to make you know. Built some back links. Are you base in Uk?

Set it up on the side and don't quit your day job. It will take months to start earning money from the Internet and even then it doesn't pay all that great.
Working from home sounds ideal but those on here who currently do it have probably put years of hard work in beforehand before they quit their day job.

I would recommend to start to work for yourself before you quit your current job. When you are more focused and knowledgeable you may start working as a self-employed. This is the better option.

I second what the rest here have written. First, DON'T RESIGN from your job if you even don't know what you want to do yet. You have some vague ideas, and all of them have the potential to work or to fail miserably. You have to test drive your ideas, see how they do, learn the tools of the trade, and start earning enough to live on before you quit your job.

Don't be in a rush, being self employed may sound exciting but it's risky, and it takes time, and you need to learn all the pros and cons before you make the leap. Not everyone is good at it, and you won't know till you try. So start doing your own thing on the side, see how it pans out, and then if you're reasonably satisfied that you can support yourself on what you make, after taxes and overheads, then go ahead and plan your resignation!

I'll third this. It's much better idea to spend some time & actually set a goal to earn some $$$ before diving in..

This internet requires alot of work and IMO its best not to give up the job yet try creating a few websites in the meantime get some traffic, fresh content and ads and see how it goes before diving into the deep end. Ive seen so many get into debt business is very unpredictable at times.

    Hello,

    Welcome to the forum ;)

I don't know but it's much depend on how much expense you need to pay and how much you want to earn for a living (nett) each month

and of course how you would like to run your business (since you don't say anything specific)

working online could be an option but there's a lots of option out there (real estate, investment etc) :)

I would start as a collector..collecting can help you build a business and help you get experance...you can collect and resell your collections.....and develop your senses about business.
There are a number of collections such as coins, etc

see some of the price guides for collections

This can help build a sound customer base and give you a lot of enjoyment

thank you all for your advice.
I will short list my options down to 2 or 3 and do the neccesary step by step.
I will not go on discussing the different option here, since it comes under different subjects, eg blogging or forex trading.
