There is no limit to the stupidity religion is capable of. it's not even just roses that these cretinous imbeciles have banned. They have banned all red items. yeah, They banned a colour to stop "immoral relations between unmarried men and women".
Black market prices for roses were already rising. I can't imagine a scene where people buy roses like drug dealing in the back streets.
It is dangerous to buy in the black market, you cant hide a red rose in a bag, what if you are caught. Wonder what is their punishment for that?
lol, i don't know, too much irrationality here to predict anything. If you take it as disobeying the law, it might turn out very much unpleasing. What i know is, expressing love in such a gentle way is nowhere near un-Islamic. They can first stop doing business with infidels if everything about the west is un-Islamic, instead of giving the world cheap evening news amusement.

They are probably banning flowers because women love them so much. For Valentines Day they will make the women wear black covers and spend the day cooking and cleaning. No flowers, no candy, no smiling allowed!
I guess it's like the ice sellers and other things that weren't around in the Prophet's day. Why on earth was he so anti-progress? Not that red roses are "progress" but surely innovation, trade, business, and making a living were admirable qualities even back then. What "prophet" would want to see a society stagnate and not try to better itself. I wonder if they will close hospitals (peddling unholy western drugs and procedures) and ban telecommunications (allowing discreet communication between men and women, those ear pieces are surely the devil's work?)
Now that stupidity is only surpassed by a government actually supporting their government. Lets not forget the people that support a certain leader who kisses up to them every day of the week. I cant imagine being married in that country. My heart goes out to the women there. I know in dubai its much more moderate as they allow everyone to practice the religion they see fit to practice.
