I received another pile of emails today from more whining crybabies on why they aren't making any money with adsense. My answer is always the same, "YOUR SITE SUCKS!" Why don't these people get it. Their site and content are crap and they think they will make money from Google, good luck! I have one guy who continually sends me updates on his site, so out of curiosity I take a look. It is full of pictures of him and his family at some weddings in India. BOOOOOOOOORRRRRRING!!! Nobody wants to see pictures of you and your family at a wedding, who cares. Put some decent and relevant content on your page and maybe something will happen. Another guy I get a really good laugh out of is someone I call the proxy guy. This genius has about ten proxy sites just littered with adsense and guess what NO MONEY FROM GOOGLE. Google will NEVER make you any money if you do not have an interesting site that is FULL of relevant content that is updated regularly. It doesn't matter how many times I tell them this, they just seem to not want to listen. Once you figure out what it is that Google wants you will be well on your way to building a content rich and useful site. Try and think about your visitors for a moment, what would they like to see or read about. Make it interesting enough that they will want to visit again. Now go and put some relevant content on your site.
Content is King and everyone who is using Adsense should know that. If do not have texts on your website, then nobody can find you because Google and Yahoo are not interested for your empty website. You should keep Google and Yahoo robots busy with your contents and internal linking with A --> B --> C --> A system. It is a circulation and it keeps search engine robots working all the time for you and when they are busy you can get traffic and traffic means MONEY.
I'm going to have to agree with you on that and even push some green your way.. As many times as i've tried in the past, I just could not have said it any better than you just did..
I'd say 90% of the sites mentioned on this forum... really really does suck. That or they are impossibly spammy. There's something wrong with people.... It seems to be even more prevalent with people from developing countries, no offense intended.
well proxies can make a lot of money, it's not my field but there's a lot of people making money off of proxies alone. The main thing is persistence, stick with it and also know when to call it quits. Sometimes a site just isn't doing too well, and if it's taking up too much time managing - abandon it and go with a site that's doing better. If you don't feel like abandoning it, you can continue it but really I only would recommend that for people who have patience. Majority of people just want to slap some ads on a site, and start earning - which obviously isn't going to happen over night (regardless of what someone told you).

lots of content and lots of articles wrtiting with linkbacks to your site will get u some results but u need to work hard on that and put in effort
FKA200 I totally agreed with u as I am one of them who initially without putting in much effort and expect to earn something. Only after really put in effort for the past 6 months, I finally at least reach the stage where I am receiving a cheque from google every month- though not much but at least something(instead of 1 cheque every 6 months intially ...hahaha)
People who start their site just to earn money from google adsense will never earn anything from google. Care for your readers and not be so mean . Give them something interesting to read in your site, other than ads
Most crap sites will not get good traffic. And if they still make money it doesn't last cause they are either removed from search engines because most crap sites are spammers.
Traffic = Money so optimize ur site, and try to increase ur traffic. U will see some good $$ in ur adsense account
if crap sites aren't earning any money, why are there so many of them? MFA sites do earn money if you know how to market them. sadly i don't. But I know a 26 year old german guy who became a millionaire 7 years ago with his own version of a hot or not site.
