I have like 50 pages to my website. Is there anyway to get the program to do one thing to all 50 pages without having to sit there and change and save EVERY page? Thanks

To make a Global change to every page of your site in Dreamweaver:
top menu bar choose 'edit' >find and replace...in the dialog box, choose Entire Local Site in the dropdown box labeled 'Find In' Make sure the html code is entered correctly.
    Good Luck
    Hope this Helps

Or instead of a template, if you can use includes for your header, navigation and footer, then you only have to change one file instead of every file. Templates are a real pain when the site gets large, as you have to upload every single page that was altered by the template. Using includes, you just change the include file, upload only that file, and it's an instant site-wide change.

    Hi Gang
You can link many docs to a single file with CSS, Javascripts and SS-Includes which uses the .inc extension.(if the information in the include is sensitive use the .asp extention to protect the contents) Think of them as a Global Commander server side that directs files. You can stripe the files of common functions and use the includes globally.

By default the server won't parse a document with an .htm or .html extension. We use an .asp or .shtml to have the server process these files.
The include directive accepts the keyword "file" to indicate a relative path and "virtual" to declare a root relative path. You should not use the file directive to link your pages to includes that sit in higher directories. These are common usage protocols in ASP and .NET.

Includes are available in JSP, Cold Fusion, PHP

    Hope this Helps
