    Hi

I just got screwed by Yahoo mail

I got couple of forum registered using one yahoo email. Today just a while ago the email address was doing good.

But when I logged out and try to logged in again, it took to the another page to verify the email address with First Name and Last Name. I entered the name correctly. Then it again asked me to reverify the password.. then I entered password again and again and again ( it kept on asking password).. but never went it.
I clicked log in as new user, and again entered same ID and password..
This time I felt good at initial, when I took a lot at inbox... everything is Gone...
it is empty, I lost everything...:mad:

WTH, whats am I suppose to do now???
I know they had many problems, I never knew it was this serious.
Any suggestions? All my emails are gone:mad::mad:

Or is it my Yahoo got Hacked???
    Please Help

    Best Regards
    digital duke

If you regain access, I suggest you change the password. Could have been hacked. Check your computer as well for spyware/viruses/keyloggers.

I tried that long time ago... It is still asking me to verify password. I have type 100 times and still can't go inside. It is asking me to verify password again and again...but last time it went inside, and everything was gone.
I think l lost it, and I don' think it is hacked or anything.

I have had one of the worst Yahoo experiences you can imagine. I was using a YAHOO email address for a long time. I had over 5000 emails in it with valuable information and data. All of a sudden, Yahoo deleted my account for nooooooooooooo reason. They could not come up with any single reason for deleting my account. I called them, they asked me to get in touch with some other dude, I did all that I could but there was no help. From that day on, I decided to NEVER use Yahoo again. Right now, we are popping all our emails, thanks to Gmail which is a blessing! :) GOOGLE ROCKS :)

It really seems like you got hacked. Wait a few more hours and see if the problem corrects itself...if not I would take extra caution from here on out.

If you got it eventually and the default language had been changed - I'd say that's a sure shot hit to say you've been hacked. Now your question should be - which 'XYZ-speaking' guy doesn't like me? If you have anything important to e-mail or receive - never use free webpage-based e-mail accounts - use something more secure, like good ol' outlook express.

Everyone takes things for granted on the internet - until, of course, they are the victims.

Good luck on getting that account sorted out!

    Hacked, I think.

I can't see why so many people complain about Yahoo Mail though - besides you, I mean. People say they get loads of spam in their inbox and all the right mail is sent to spam, personally I think that's a load of bull. In my personal email with Yahoo I get hundreds of spam a day, all are sent to the spam folder with NO exceptions, EVER. And all of my proper emails are delivered to me like they should, and not placed anywhere else.

I've never had any problems with them and I prefer them over all other free email providers, including Gmail. I just really love their service and nothing has ever gone wrong with it for me, yet I see so many people complaining. But besides, why complain about something that's free?

Sorry for my little banter - I hope your problems are resolved!

Gmail is my personal favorite right now. Yahoo mail is alright, though this thread is definitely pointing out its flaws... If you don't have a Gmail account, I highly recommend getting one.
