Starting a forum aimed at the sports market ( allows users to talk about every sports available ,talk about stuff like poker etc, talk about betting , talk about gambling etc ). So its really a forum for people interested in sports or interested in gambling etc to discuss . But they were not be any actual gambling taking placed so I need some ideas . I have $3000 in adwords to spend on ads. Can anyone suggest good keywords to drive users to my forum ? . I think obvious keywords such as poker etc are restricted by google adwords. Also can anyone suggest sites , ways etc of driving traffic to the site ? Thanks in advance
Well first off I strongly suggest narrowing your forum topic. There are a ton of forums out there that are meant to talk about sports, and probably even more about poker/gambling. You need a more targeted niche if you want to be successful - for example, just one sport. Even better, one specific team of that sport. Otherwise I think you will just be wasting your $3000. Trust me, I have been in similar situations. Also, you'll be able to bid lower on more targeted keywords.
