LOST and other treaties, the end of American sovereignty?

Glenn Beck did a segment on L.O.S.T. which OUR Senate is close to ratifying, which would have enormous impact not only on the planet, but on American legal sovereignty, by allowing the UN to tax Americans via a fee system.

No taxation without representation. I absolutely hate the UN.

Contact your Senator and tell them they will lose your support if they vote for L.O.S.T.

I feel the same about the EU lately. Our president signed the crappy Lisbon Treaty without even holding a referendum. And I think they're going to put Tony Blair as president of EU :( .

If I get taxed one cent I will make sure every Senator that voted for it eats my shit every morning of their waking existence.

    Forget "2 girls, 1 cup". It'll be "100 Senators, 1 cup".

I need some help in understanding, why do you believe super-government, or one-world government is a bad idea?

Why do you feel one-world currency is a bad idea?

I understand there could be valid points, but I'd still like to hear your thoughts about it.

I won't speak for him but this is from me:

You will have no rights in a one world government, all these countries are not "uniting" under the US Constitution, you will follow THEIR law not ours. History informs us that large empires with no laws guaranteeing rights for the peasants.. may just be dangerous for the peasants.

But you and I are already peasants in their world, because you are a consumer and you breed. If you're not an elite, you ain't shit. In fact, you are shit. You're being poisoned every day and likely don't know it. The change won't be so quick like say Hitler's genocide, it'll be a little more stealth like say the UN.

They don't necessarily hate you, they just want less of you. Around 350 million to be exact.

Power is supposed to be decentralized. It should belong to the people.

You, me. We are supposed to have the power to grow food, raise kids, educate them, build homes, learn etc.

But centralized and big government always degenerates into a nanny state. One that tells you what you can and cannot do. As Reagan put it in 1964 (paraphrased), to become our great moral teacher.

We all know that governments everywhere are corrupt, and we all seek leaders with integrity, knowing them to be a rare commodity.

So knowing that, why would we want more, and bigger government? And why, in a world as geographically, culturally and spiritually diverse as ours, should everyone have to conform to a monotheistic system? Shouldn't there be room for socialists and anarchists? Christians and atheists? Dog lovers and cat lovers?

Choice is an individual right. Government, no matter how well intended, limits choices. Not just the bad (by whatever definition you want to use) ones, but unpopular ones, minority preferences.
