I am in school, so this is just a hobby when not studying etc. I make a good amount of money, probably not enough to beat someone that does work, but more then pocket money :D.

More than pocket money but still not enough to call it a job, right?
Its interesting to hear from those who have their family, private house, etc.
And who make money on-line only

Well w3bmaster makes around 6 -10 times what he would make working off it, so you can live off it if you set yourself well :)

I just recently quit my job to fullfill my dream of working online as a graphic and web designer. I currently have 3 sites up and running, and one more on the way. They are mostly resources, and myspace resource sites but I think I wanna branch out to the blog world lol... But as for $$, it comes slowly but surely. I def think you can "bank" if you have the creativity and the drive to succeed =)

Once i complete my collage, am planning to survive on internet!

    Who can survive on e-money?
ans: People who have certain skills, like graphic designers, coders, writers etc can survive pretty easily on the net, the less skilled people like me has to work a bit harder to survive, though with proper business sense you can make a living on the net,

I have a fulltime job so I have a guaranteed wage each month. I have been offering my writing skills in my spare time, making websites to get some extra money etc.

I make a good amount in my eyes from the net, I aim to allow the internet to pay my bills each bmonth so that all of my monthly income can be mine. Being 21, living at home with only the need to support my car/phone/alcohol addiction  I manage to pretty much do it so I'm happy.

It's a hobby at the moment most definately. I've made some cash but invested more. Also invested many hours so far. I enjoy the learning and it is trilling to see the dollars come in (even if they do it very slowly :) ). One day I hope to be able to comfortably live off e-income alone. Soon hopefully!

    Thanks for sharing everyone.
Right for now I can see that only w3bmaster is surviving.
Once again, I know that its possible to earn for living through Web, I know that there are some people who do earn, but DO YOU?
Fleelance work fits into this topic, but revenue has to be permanent (if you earned 600$ for designing 2 websites in February, it doesnt mean that you wont die from hunger in March)

I can't survive with the earnings I get from the internet alone. But I wish one day I could.

You can search threads for "My xxx/x,xxx$ a day day", and then assume it's an insignificant percent who openly declares.

I don't really earn enough to make "living" from e-money. And I don't have to care about it.. I am still a kid, Living with my parents. I am planning to make this as a full-time job and make living after my studies are finished. :)

I work online during my leisure period and earn some e-money which is only supplemental but that can't overtake the earnings from my full time job, at least for now ;)
