I feel RSS/XML feed directories are good for increasing your subscriber count if you display the live FeedBurner subscription count on your site or blog. Also, inbound links to your posts. When you update your feed, the feed directory displays your links on their site. Those are low level IBLs but you didn't have to work to get them. RSS/XML feeds are not to entirely great for traffic building. In my experience, they typical do not drive anything more than a few clicks from each site a month.

I'm new at this and I'm actually trying to drive more traffic to my site.. These tips are great!

 

One can easily drive some nice amounts of visitors to a new blog with entrecard.com. I am getting 150 visitors on average from entrecard. p.s. entrecard is for blogs only.
