A reasonable price for 2 letter .com domain

What do you think it's a reasonable price for a 2 letter .com domain. This domain isn't use and has very little type-in traffic, but is a good domain?
PS: If you don't know the real market value of such domains, please don't post.

About $100k & up, depending on the letter quality.

Do you mean LL.com or L-L.com or L--L.com? These are the only 3 possible combonations for two letter .coms. All are two letters. I assume you mean LL.com which is in most cases out of the common domainers price range.. lol

Well there are 676 of each of the three types of 2L.coms. For a total of only 2,028 possible 2L.coms. That's not many considering the amount of people online. If you want a 2 letter .com you should expect to pay a pretty penney! :)

I would expect even worst letters to fetch 50k+. I remember at least traffic I think one got bid up to around 60k or so and no sale (didn't meet reserve) might get lucky at 50k level, but that would be where i might start an offer, and expect around double for even mediocre letters)

The domain is in form of xy.com (2 different letter).
From the previous trades, seems the domain value starts at 100k, and go up to 4-500k.
Do you think the value of such domains will go up, or people aren't impressed anymore by them?

These type of domains are almost impossible to obtain now, but if you got the dope, jump on it because the value will continue to rise.

I am part owner of a company that has a 2 letter .com domain and I do not agree with you guys its worth 100K or even 500K. Its only worth what someone has a need for.

I am not into domains and what they sell for because when we get a domain we are not looking to sell, we are only looking to use it.

So, I can not say what the vaule really is. At the levels of 100K and up your talking about some serious money at that time. Personally from systems point of view, two letter .com domains get more traffic than all of our other domains. By more than X10 other traffic with nothing on the domain.

    Definitely worth at least 50K.

I would do a search on those 2 letters at
some of the major search engines, and
see what comes up. You may find a big
company (with deep pockets) that it
would fit perfectly for. Then you can
contact them and offer it for sale.

Even better - find several big companies
and invite them to bid on it.

50k at least. Probably more, if it's anything but the worst letter and number.
