can someone explain this to me?

    my stats have me thrown.

using the stats fro my cpanel which uses awstats it shows my proxy gets over 2000 hits a day. My adbrite and adsense show less than 100 impressions. why is that? I thought they would be close.

Any stats loggers that run on the server are inaccurate for proxies. It's always been like that.

    yes they can be.
depends on how they use to track the traffic, and it can vary by few or alot

well traffic can be inflated. Plus iran and china visitors will give huge traffic
however you can still make it to become high traffic and good earning.

I think the scrolling news is a bit of distraction.

i agree with scrolling bar. It is unnneccessary and additionally, it is not SEF so your ads will not be displayed accordingly to what is displayed there.

or if that is a type of scrolling ad, (unless you got paid well), put it below near the bottom.

I have a few questions, I'm just getting into this:

    1. What countries should I be blocking to avoid smart-pricing by adsense?

    2. Should I add a newsletter subscription to my proxies? And if so, what should I use, how often should I send out newsletters, and what should I put in them?

    3. If a proxy starts to slow down, should I sell it or just advertise a bit more?

    4. When exactly would be a good time to sell a proxy making some money? And what's the going rate for proxies? (10x monthly revenue, 12x, etc)

    5. How long do proxies normally "last"?

Use client side statistics, like Google Analytics.

    no llamafier

nianain needs to find a visitor that is using lots of BDW through his proxy site
Google Analytics has no use here
