    Today i bought a facebook app from appssale.com / http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=6512273

I received the app and all was well until i realized that there wasnt a read me file. Anyway i managed to get in up and running after several emails with the owner. I then realized that the upload function on the app wasnt working and PM'ed the member here. They still havent fixed it...

And another note. Why is the demo(http://apps.facebook.com/stickme/) offered significantly different from when i actually install it!?

Just my word of warning to you guys.

It could be possible that he is selling a pirated / nulled version of the script? I hate these guys too... I hope you get it figured out :)

What's that supposed to mean? I really hate when people with like next to no post count come on here and try to offer members who have been here a while advice on doing business in B/S/T. I am sure he took plenty of precautions when purchasing the app, there is only so much you can do to prevent a scam.

winy925: Don't you think you should point out the "minor differences" in your sales thread? I would want to know what I was purchasing wasn't the demo before I bought. My 2 cents ;)

Also as far as i know facebook removes not so popular applications. Could this mean if you don't promote it enough it will simply be removed?

Thanks for the info. When people show a demo what they sell should be exactly like that imo.

I wish I'd seen this thread before. I bought three apps + 10 themes with resell rights from winy and still haven't received the 10 themes I was promised 2 weeks ago. The apps that I did receive are incomplete because they use images and databases from other people's hosting accounts. I've purchased facebook apps before and have never faced such problems. I can't use the apps myself let alone sell them to others. winy said he has no paypal money to refund me and I should have asked him for a refund before. First week, he said the products are not ready for delivery, then he said he was sick all week and this week he said he forgot to send the themes. Very unhappy with my purchase.
