One time I pulled up to a Verizon store to pay my phone bill when some beggar came up to me. He asked me for $100 so he could pay for his cell phone bill and call 911 cause his son was in his car dieing. I gave him $20 for the creativity and a good laugh.
Shit..That a lot of money....If they do a little bit of more marketing they can fight to stand against Shoemoney.How about beggar affiliate.They can work awesome
Once in a while I'll give a bum in New York $5 if they look like they need it It's certainly possible if they are scammers. They can move around a lot using the subway.
Its true.. and heres another, the total amount of money gathered by beggars in Mumbai, India is about 10 million (yes, you heard it right) per month. Though, there is no solid proof of this.
A similar situation was on the news a year ago...the beggars are very wealthy ...there is a real net with this affair ...they are staying in the subway, in front of the hipermarkets, churches, big restaurants...etc a good business
I have seen in the news that a beggar was caught here, and somehow they found out that he had like 100k in the bank, he was complaining that houses were too unaffordable so he needs to work(?) harder and such.
This is a really true story which i read in a newspaper..... He was from state of Bihar, India. He moved to the state of Punjab and started begging, their local government alloted houses and some cash to people below poverty line so that they can start their own business. After taking this this beggar moved to another state and also got cash and house their as well......... so now after 15 years he owns 8 houses in 8 different states. Does nothing for living as he has rented all these houses..... this is not really fair. for every beggar that earns $300, there are probably like 1,000 that earn a tenth of that.
Yep. About two years ago. I still see her around though. I'm sorry... how are they earning anything? And 1/10th of that is still ~$900 a month. I have friends that live off less.
