Ferrari Fan Forum Please Review!

Hello,

Please can you give me comments, opinions any ideas on how to improve Ferrari Fans.

A complete review would be best but any comments are welcome.

Overall it looks good. The forum is very readable.

Don't really like the page borders, too many lines going down the left and right, bit distracting to the eye. Seems there are too many stripes in the border and background.
apart from that everything looks good to me. Specially like the footer. I would've used something like that in my header, as it looks stronger and better than your current one - and more red.

 

The site looks great, the only things I would change are the header, make it look more like your footer! and get rid of all the lines in the border, apart from that its great

 

perhaps you should remove the last fat border on the left and right and replace it with a shadow or sth. As for the colours, I know it's distracting, but, hey, it;s Ferrari. Perhaps you should find a more 'moving' car image for the header. As for the rest, I like it very much!

I would say too much repetition with the same red logo and red separators.

I have noticed that about the footer. It's something I hope to improve soon

A moving image might be good but I have seen on some sites they don't look too good. I will remove the border lines and keep it just one shade all along.

Looks good...talk about a lot of wishful thinking...lol

 

Design is good. Too much repetition of logos, but you can change that with time.
Ferrari font of site name in banner is nice. Still - right side of banner looks empty, lacks distinction.
All in all - much better than i expected when entering. I really enjoyed my visit, and will probably come back again.

Just Kidding, but don't be surprised if you'll soon see a McLaren Fans forum that looks exactly like yours, only in McLaren colors, and with pics of the McLaren 2008 car looking exactly like the ferrari...

I have made changed the background and a new header should be done within a week or so.

Good looking website. The only thing I would change is the off topic and introduction folder at the top of the the discussion folders.
I would place them at the bottom of your forum, unless you want off topic and introductions to be the main subjects.

I have plans to do a gallery as well as a car database. However I don't have the technical experience to integrate coppermine with the same theme as the forum. I have worked with coppermine before but not for ages.

I guess I need to pay someone to do it at some point down the road. It would be could to see members contributing to the gallery. It won't be anytime soon though. I am really passionate about this project though and want it to succeed.

It does seem like rearranging the off topic and introductions forum would be good. I would like people to see the introductions forum though. I might put this at the top (near the header) for all new members to see it.
