Hello community. I wanted to share with all of you my experience with 3-way link exchanging. I pretty much believe that if you don't have any previous good experience with the person that is asking for a three-way link exchange, avoid it or do a link check for quite a long time. This is just a "heads up", guys because as i see it, you link exchange with somebody and after a month he "looses" your link and you stuck with links that don't offer you anything - instead you offer them a lot. I have never in my life, not even once, removed a reciprocal link (not at least without notifying the other party i was about to do so), yet i see many cases where the other side does it after a while without any notification. I think this is unethical. So be very cautious with the people you link exchange in a 3-way method. Kindest regards.
As for me still help my site its a strategic way of building oneway link. Subliminal is right don't forget to have a list of your link exchange just to protect your site cause many SEO today is not fair in placing link.
Some of the link checkers do provide link check for 3 way link exchange, like SEO elite, webmaster lagoon, link machine etc...
Another issue is that if you link exchange in general is to be careful for a dofollow link. Some wise guys link exchange and you are happy but your link never gets counted as a one to follow :-/
I use two methods for monitoring my 3 way link exchanges. 1) Linkmachine - this software is for maintaining a directory of reciprocal links, but it works for 3 way as well. Just put the page your link is on as the reciprocal URL. Review at http://www.linkexchangeresources.com/software.php 2) http://www.3waylinkz.com - fully automated, just set it up and forget about it. People will always accidently delete your link, if you want to use this method of promotion, you must use software to make sure your links remain online. Riatsala
In case you have experienced some of unfair link exchange try to check every week the your link of there site.just to be sure that your are still on there site.
I imagine that they can provide this service only if your partner has his 2 sites on the same IP or same server.
Anyone tried Jonathon Leger's 3 Way Links? I've considered getting it, but have yet to take the plunge.
Nope, any page on any server/IP. You can put any URL you like as the "reciprocal URL" in LinkMachine.
Yes, I was a beta tester and I still use it. 3waylinks is an extremely quick and easy way to get links, but it's only cost effective if you have several sites.
