To the best of my knowledge, the only "Pay Per Play" provider for audio ads right now is Voice2Page Communications, using the NetAudioAds system. All of the affiliates you see are somehow or another on the downline started by Charles Heflin for the V2P NAA PPP program.

I'm sure if this program has success over the next several months, other providers will start joining the game.

Give it a few more weeks... they are having a third party audit conducted right now to verify sites are TOS compliant. The ads are limited until all sites are verified. After that is done, and bad sites are eliminated, the audio ads will resume 100% distribution.

Its been said by the developers of this project, it will take an additional 30days to fill the amount of affiliates they want. Which is a wise move, if they keep allowing new sign ups, that will only mean the CPM amount will drop, as of now, any new sign ups need approval.

resume? they never had 100% distribution to begin with.

a few weeks? wtf? if there had to be an audit, why wasn't it done from the beginning, as the sites were signed up? why did this issue suddenly show up out of nowhere? i think that it's an excuse to hide the fact that they don't have enough advertisers to cover the publisher base.

what makes it so irritating is all of these affiliate spammers that are flooding the internet with it.

Wrong. They tried, and quickly realized it needed to be throttled.

You are entitled to your opinion. I disagree. The only thing that has really screwed them up lately was saying they would launch February 1st. The system just wasn't ready for the popularity it recieved. I am glad they are taking as much time as they need to get it to 100% instead of just pushing out something.

The affiliates are able to sell advertising as well, but NetAudioAds has been holding back on this program until the ads are playing steadily. Does that sound like a company desperate for advertisers? The big brand contracts have been signed for a long time, and there is no shortage.

Agreed. I wish they would cut off the affiliate program ASAP. It will happen soon (has been announced, but no date set - they learned their lesson), but not soon enough for me.

Yeah, I am. lol. If you want to play it safe, just get accepted and put the code in when they are at full steam. That way if they shut the doors, you'll won't have to worry about getting in. To be honest, they have way more publishers than they need. They are already kicking out porn sites and other unwholesome sites that would not fit well with advertisers. I've been told that they will be able to reach the full demand within 30 days based upon the large contracts acquired recently. We'll see. Either way this thing is a money maker and will probably be around for awhile. Its cheaper than adwords and will attract the big advertisers just on the branding potential alone. This is a no risk situation, as no money leaves your pocket. This isn't agloco because the money is already rolling in for them and they have already decided on weekly payouts and have announced the first payout to be this friday. So I really don't know what else you can ask of them. As long as they pay on time, I have no problems with them.

When the program hits full swing they (about 2weeks from now) will pay 3.50per CPM, at the moment while testing, they are paying per advert played, 100'000 per day.

I am not employed by Voice2Page (owners of NetAudioAds), nor any other company affiliated with pay per play ads. I am an affiliate. If you want to talk to somebody from V2P, Larry Host's (CTO of V2P) email address is very easy to find, and he is usually quite responsive.

Guess it depends on where your visitors are coming from. From my initial stats I got .10 for 30 plays... which will be an additional $3.00 CPM on top of any other banners I am running... FREE X-tra money $$$

Think about it from the advertiser's viewpoint... How much do you think companies from Peru would want to pay me for my visitors from the US ?

Who's stats are these ? for an individual site they are wrong and you should contact Larry Host's at V2P

On another note, if these stats are even yours and you are involved in the program, why are you posting them, they are meaningless while the program is in a testing phase.

How many visitors did you lose because of the annoyance of the automatic audio ads?

    hmmm... lemme check....

Wow... My site is surprisingly showing a high for online visitors right now. But then I only placed these audio ads on sites where visitors are already expecting to hear things coming from their speakers.

Let's also compare this to what I am getting with the "#1" network... adcents is currently paying me only a 0.60 CPM rate... now isn't that HUGE ?
