Hess-von Kruedener, known as Wolf to his friends and colleagues, was an eager soldier with many friends, said Capt. Bernard Dionne, a public affairs officer at Canadian Forces Base Kingston.

In recent years, Hess-von Kruedener taught soldiers the skills needed to be a UN military observer at the Peace Support Training Centre in Kingston.

Hess-von Kruedener also has two children.

The soldier and three other observers from Austria, China and Finland had taken cover in a bomb shelter under a building marked as a UN post when they were attacked. They had contacted the Israeli government TEN times informing them that the attacks were getting closer to their post, and informing them that there are UN soldiers and peacekeppers in the building.

Ignoring the calls from these UN workers, the building was targeted with precision guided missiles, and all 4 UN workers were killed.

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has suggested that Israel deliberately targeted the UN post.

Israel's UN ambassador, Dan Gillerman, said Israel would not allow the UN to be involved in any investigation of why the post was struck. (I wonder why).

Also, remember that the great state of Israel used ILLEGAL weapons (cluster mines) in the Lebanon war of 2006. Also, Israel targeted and attacked schools and hospitals from air attacks during that war. Killing children and the sick? What an honourable nation!

Also remember that Israel killed 10 times more civillians during that war than the "terrorists"

Also, regarding the comment by Will.Spencer, "...demand Spain be handed back over to them" - remember that Jews, Christians, and Muslims lived together in harmony in Spain for 500 years under islamic rule until the Crusaides when muslims were eradicated from spain.

ive been to the middle east. i know how its like over there and what america does only provokes their feelings even more. They are not terrorrists and Islam is not a religion of terrorrism, killing and war.

The Jews in Israel have been facing a hundred years of Palestinian terrorism.

The vionce against the Jews has continued from the 1921, 1929 and 1936-1939 riots led by El Mufti to the war against the Jews led by the Nazi El Mufti starting in 1946. El Muft's nephew Arafat then devoted his life to terrorizing the Jews leading the PLO.

Look at the situation in Gaza. Israel withdrew 100% from Gaza and the Jews have been answered with a wave of terrorism.

It is not possible to make peace with terrorists.

conquering is like stealing other peoples land... so if someone came into my house and told me it was his great grandfather's who had promised it for him and moved out i wouldnt accept it. Then if he removed me by force i would fight back. I really think you should relook the situation and see which side does the real terrorizing killing women, kids, and innocent people.
