IE 7 rocks. Just you need to use ie7 pro add in (its free). ie7 pro adds lots of feature and make it as feature rich as Firefox with lots of add ins. in Terms of UI IE 7 is way ahead of firefox. Note: to resolve the slow performance issue just disable the phishing feature in IE7.
I only use IE for testing web pages for compatibility. Otherwise it's Firefox all the way. I've occasionally used Safari for Windows as well.
does the add in have a restore feature? maybe IE8 will include some of the helpful things FF & Opera have had for years now!!
I am using IE and FF. Both are having their own plus and minus points. FireFox, have good speed and certain advantages like memorizing the password. In IE, Iam very glad, that I am getting my local language, that is, Malayalam- a regional language of Kerala in India. It is very easy to browse the wikipedia Malayalam edition. So my child can study articles in the local language. It is very nice. But in FF no.
I hate IE.. I only use it for compatibility because I do CSS/XHTML coding... but i wish everyone used firefox or opera.
Internet Explorer 7, it has improved enough with regard to its predecessors, but still it still has a lot of work to come up to where it is, FireFox 2, Opera or Lynx.
I use Firefox and Safari. No one can beat their quality. Internet Explorer was made for just a sake of making a web browser. Microsoft always pokes it's nose in all the fields. Though this statement doesn't suit much in this thread, but the fact is true. Think over it
u cant believe my eyes ?!?! people praise IE on a WEBMASTERS forum? it may be fine for introducing senior citizens to teh internetz but im guessing the IE lovers here never actually designed a web page or they would want to slice it's throat and shove it's .dll up it's own executable
