in DP, for many transactions, members insist on total number of posts rather than their itraders.what is the reason?...posts can be made by all if they have got much time, but itraders arent like this....right????
iTraders can be picked up very easily (read fraudulently) too if you're determined to dupe the system. I think it's length of membership and past record that count for the most - certainly when I'm dealing with someone.
If I were the buyer I would give more weight on the rep of member than their itraders. Reps are the hardest thing to come by and high rep members have been here long and are respected.
useful posts will earn you a good reputation, provided someone actually takes the time to click the rep link and give it to you. overall reputation, iTrader count and quality of posts is a good indicator of an individuals trustworthiness.
I always check both Sometimes posts are important too By the way I check the date registered too If a person is for a long time here, I do not think that he will want to lose his account for example for 20$
Number of posts is not an issue, but quality of posts definitely is. As said, all the three combined should help you make up your opinion of a member.
Number of posts is killing me. I still need 14 more argggg. I have sold hundreds of domain names but I need 25 freaking posts to list 1 for sale here...
I'll respect both iTrader and rep. Both are important. But the longevity in this forum will also count for the reliability.
I hate the fact that everyone judges by itrader. How are you supposed to get past 0 itrader if nobody will buy from you? :\
But what if you're a freelancer from elsewhere? If I had a bunch of my own products to sell, high quality services, and previously sold templates. All legit, and I came here, because I knew I could sell. Nobody would buy it because of the itrader.
