Please, bare with me on this. 99.9% chance that this won't happen. Would you support an Obama\Ron Paul ticket if it happened?

There is a even less chance than you stated because they are from opposite parties. Also they do not agree on major issues. And to answer your question, NO!.

Depends on the role Ron Paul would have in the Obama administration. VP is a worthless position; being in charge of the economy or foreign policy, something significant, I think I might be able to support. Ron Paul is a great asset to many different facets of our government even if he isn't president, but I can't support that ticket unless Paul were to have a significant role (and VP is not that role).

Obama, as it stands right now, is the most palatable of the four mainstream candidates besides Paul, at least to me. I mean hell, on the GOP side all that's left is a war-mongering quasi-liberal, and a fiscal liberal but social ultra conservative. There aren't a lot of great choices.

I think given his age and inexperience and social ties, Obama stands the least ability to get shit done, and considering the state of affairs in our country and economy, nothing happening (at least in the form of spending and more laws) is the most desirable outcome from this election, for me. That is essentially what a Paul vote consists of, rolling back the clock on spending and idiotic laws, basically nominating a 4 year veto stamp.

SecState or SecDef would be great positions for him, IMHO.

See, I think the lack of politics and Washington rub off on Obama is a key factor in his ability to get stuff done. He won't be held back by promises he made and so forth. Moving forward he might be the man to get stuff done, if the democrates pull the reps, house & admin we'll be in for some BIG change.

Yes... but of course I'm planning on supporting Obama in the general anyway. McCain is no good.

I feel Obama will give RP some place in his administration for some strange reason, he talks about bring the parties together and that would be a good move to prove hes doing just that.

Actually in the position of VP, RP could influence the hiring of alot of pro RP people to set up a political base for the year 2012;). I would go for the idea even though i feel obama isnt much different then the other special interest supported groupy candidates.

I would never support INSANE McCain and his idea of 100 years in iraq.
That is the kind of candidate that would get us into ww3

Look at who contributes to Obama's campaign. He's bought and sold just like the rest. Anyone who thinks differently merely needs to look at his voting record.

If you want to stop being treated like a baby by the state, stop eating the mindless popular pablum people are passing around.
