Halal and Non Halal

Although i dont like posting in the P&R forum because of all the red flying around, but i think that it would be better if you would have asked this question in a more suitable place, like a religious forum where there are real muslim experts. I doubt anyone here could answer this as it is most probably only known by muslims that have done their research.
but in my opinion, unless a muslim consumes it I doubt its forbidden.
Again, this is just my opinion so please dont take this as an answer.

 

Halal isn't just permitted foods, It's also permitted means of slaughter. Halal and kosher slaughter should be banned in any country where compassion for animals exists. it's a barbaric practice and needs to be stopped.

The animals have their throats cut and are left to bleed to death for 2-3 minutes.

Even though halal is commonly used to refer food diet internationally, it actually is a word that means allowed or permitted. Can be used in various areas such as behaviour, work, medicine etc. as well as food. For instance; if you make a living out of gambling, betting, stealing, anything that harms or serves in disfavor of other people(blackmail for eg.) -or yourself- that money is non-halal, or haraam, and you shall not use it for yourself or people you take care of.

As for the food, it is not actually hard to design a halal food menu. You don't include pig or related meat, animal corpse(in other words; animal that was already dead when slaughtered), alcohol drinks of any kind, and a couple of other things you already wouldn't possibly have in a regular menu -- unless you have a weirdo diet.

Frankly, i was never in a position to eat a frog, and hopefully never will(lol) unless i'm on a military mission in a jungle (lol2), so i didn't know, though the preacher was pretty wise with the answer. But.. frogs are forbidden to kill according to a hadith so i suppose it'd be haraam. It has also been included to this list i found.

But sheep is halal, so sheeple.. beware!

I've heard, any animal or bird which hunts other creatures and has claws and canine teeth, like a tiger, or an eagle, are forbidden.

 

This, IMO, is the most beautiful thing about life. You can never learn it all, and there is always something new to absorb.

 

we can eat halal food anywhere and everywhere we want with whoever we want. what matters is that we ourselves eat halal food. if i hv time i can get some quran translation or sunnah for you
