I do remember hearing about a chunk of programming in Norton coming up as a virus. I think they program in a little fake bug to convince you that you need to renew their "superior" program.
Personally, I don't believe the companies themselves create the viruses because eventually, no matter how hard they try, the truth will come out. I do remember a case some years back though, where a disgruntled ex-employee wrote one, was caught, and landed himself in jail.
i don't know how you'd be able to detect whether it is true or not. if you believe this you could also say this a bout a lot of ther things, e.g. medicine companies, governments, etc.
my 5000watts sony music system was fucked up in 2 years but my grandfathers 20 years old radio still works fine we all are being fooled by these greedy companies.........
First virus my computer got was about 2 years ago name of the virus was NORTON ANTIVIRUS This software says this is an ANTIVIRUS this virus is undectable by all the antivirus
Its amazing isn't it the difference in products compared to a decade or 2 ago, i feel your frustration, when i upgrade my music system in the future its sad that i wont expect to get much wear out of it.
ya it can be!! no one knows the reality. to make people purchase their product, they can do such things!!!
Yep, what like 90% of the people who use a computer are total n0obs when it comes to removing a virus and in general so obviously they will go out and buy an anti-virus software for $90 at bestbuy after talking to the g33ksqu4d! true, don't laugh! but with you mentioning in the original post it had me thinking doctors created viruses for us to keep them in business
Conspiracy theory!! Difficult to prove though. Remember antivirus needs the footprint before solutions can be provided. This would mean they already have the footprints. My theory was always that many viruses are made by common internet hackers, but the absolute majority of viruses within virus db's of antivirus programs are released by the antivirus makers.. Chuckun
I think, ya know, like if a company finds the one true cure for cancer, there going the trash it any not tell anyone. and you know thats true. Think about it....
