I have a long term plan to make a website on Germany. I will start with my city first.... I have registered 2 domain names. I want to know which domain name you think will suit my website for Hamburg (my city) www.hamburgtrip.com www.h-a-m-b-u-r-g.info Kindly let me know about your suggestions..
Ya butI thought atleast if a person visits the web through google then next time he shud remember the name... although h-a-m-b-u-r-g.info is messy but isnot it easy to remember this name as its the city name with hyphens b/w each letter. and i think .info suits the domain as well..... isnot it?
hamburgtrip.com is my favorite choice. The other one is really too much trouble to type into an address bar. I can't remember seeing any other URLs like that.
Definatly Hamburgtrip.com. Or, if you have both, why not set h-a-m-b-u-r-g.info to forward to hamburgtrip.com my $0.02
Forwarding the .info if you want to use that domain as well sounds the best idea, as I can't see anyone bothering to type in the .info domain with all those hyphens
There is absoluetely no contest here, no-one, and I mean no-one will type in that many "-". You might get SEO traffic but no-one will return to the site if they have to type "that" in. hamburgtrip wins hands down, a real winner if developed properly....
