Hi I Can Give You This One P4 1.5 Ghz 512 MB Ram 40 GB Disc 5 IP's 2000 GB Transfer cPanel/WHM @ $55/Month Free With Setup More Servers Available Contact Me Regards
Just an FYI, there is no cPanel on the server I mentioned previously. To add that you would be looking at around another $50/mo. As for your requests for ramping up the 6TB, we have a lot of a available bandwidth and multiple providers and could easily support you are your needs scale to that and beyond. At the 6TB level you would be looking at adding $1667/mo. or there abouts to your monthly. Let me know if you would like to proceed. Thank you.
Thanks, for all the offers, we are going to decide this by the end of february, I know I haven't provided much information, perhaps I should have thought a little more before making this post, the reason why we are going to wait is because our script is not ready to be tested by public, I have been told that we require something of a similar spec: We dont want a shared dedicated server, 1-5gig of hdd space( I guess 20gig is minimum) 2GHZ CPU 128mb ram But Lots of bandwidth, (500gb minimum) Cpanel would be a bonus, we might be able to manage it without it. To avoid bumping this post anymore, please PM for any other offers, Thanks Carl.
1) Do you know how to manage a dedicated server? Also how to keep it online 24/7? 2)CPanel wouldn't run on 128 MB RAM. A 512 would just be enough for it, would get into the swap for other stuff really slowing it down. Also file transfers require quite a bit of RAM so i do suggest you have a decent budget in mind. 3) Cpanel runs on apache which isn't good at all for file transfers. Better look into lighttpd for file transfers as it's a lot lighter on resources.
Thanks for the info, nope I've never ran a dedicated server before, my friend I think he may know how to, For My budget, I have about $250 left in my paypal which I am dedicating to this project, so Would like to spend around $200 to be split into 3 months of payments, with $50 left over,
Nope sorry, No cPanel, But we can put LXAdmin on it for you if required We can supply 6TB bandwidth if the need arises
If you don't have any experience with that, just one guy who might know a thing or two, it'll turn into a nightmare of troubleshooting this and troubleshooting that. Also when none of you won't be online and the server would go down there would be nobody to ask for a reboot. If you both are on a vacation you are mainly screwedas there will be entire days of downtime. Also with that budget you will get a very low end dedi and unless your friend is very experienced with configuring a file server so that it'll use the lowest amount of resources possible you would get the server overloaded. It's not just that you can find somebody to handle it for you, you need somebody who can do that as per your needs. So if he knows only apache he's no good.
