[WTS] Established speed traps website - First page on Google - Steady traffic

I've had this speed trap site for a while, a little over a year. It was featured on Digg's front page when it was first launched which provided an initial revenue and traffic burst and has steadily climbed the natural rankings since then. I was thinking about making this sale one of those "PM for the URL" threads, but with the site being first page on Google for the targeted keyword phrase, I figured I'd just list the URL here to save time.

Script & Site Maintenance
The script is completely custom coded from the ground up. Site uses mod_rewrite to make SEO friendly URLs. The site doesn't really need much maintenance, people submit traps via a form, people add comments to the traps. Every now and then I have to clean out spam from the database, even though the links aren't parsed anyway. Maybe the buyer of the site can implement some sort of CAPTCHA to stop this. I administer the site through phpmyadmin, there isn't any admin panel.

Traffic / Revenue
Last month in January the site received well over 5000 unique visitors with 37091 page views using up 2.82 GB worth of bandwidth. So far this month in February, over 1500 uniques and 11000+ page views. As you can imagine, the majority of the traffic comes from direct address and Google.

Site is monetized through YPN, and to be honest, not too well. So far this year it's made $14.68. Since the site launch (1 year, 19 days ago) it has made a total of $202.14 purely off YPN ads. Perhaps a savvy webmaster could do something to monetize the site better, it certainly has the traffic and potential for it.

Other notes
Site can be hosted on a regular shared hosting plan, at the moment I'm using HostGator's "baby" plan. I will offer basic support to the buyer, which includes moving the site to their server, free of charge. I really can't make any major modifications to the script or anything like that.

Info sent. And yes, some of the original trap data might be old. Ideally, people would comment on those specific traps to make visitors aware if it is in fact no longer accurate.

 

can you run some sort of query on the database to see how many new posts have been made say over the past month?

 

A a little more than 150 comments have been added to various traps the past month or so. A similar amount of new traps have been added during that time span as well. I also did a quick clean up of the database so these are all real entries, not spam.
