i was wondering which are the best optimizations for blogger/blogspot blogs.i have a PR3 blog but don't know much about SEO....tell me the best things i should do to SE optimize it...
Just get and control links. If your blog is 1yr old+ and your competition below 1000000, you can get your #1 within couple of weeks.
Be sure to use your main keyword in your blog post title and a couple of times in the body of the blog post. Also make sure to tag the post with the keyword you want to optimize with. After you post, ping your blog with pingoat.com and bookmark it with onlywire.com using the keyword as a tag. You can then do some additional marketing by submitting articles linking back to your blog post for the keyword you want to optimize for. Remember to link to your posts in addition to the blog main page. This will help build deep links to your post pages and not have everything pointing to the front page. Blogger ranks very well naturally if you have great content. You will start to see traffic coming in from many variations of your keywords after time. You can also comment on other blogs without nofollow tags and build some extra backlinks that way.
This could be a stupid question but here goes... If a blogspot is 1 year old, will changing the blog title ie. www.original-title.blogspot.com changed to www.new-title.blogspot.com reset its age advantage to 0?
Quality link exchange, quality content, forum postings, social bookmarking, etc. Those are some way you could make your blog optimized. Nothing much different from a website.
thanks for all your replies people..... and "kattposh43" i think you should reduce outgoing links to get more PR....am i right people?
Just write your posts with some of targeted keywords by which your post can get some rankings in the search engines with that keywords. And, just try to make interlinking b/w your posts from your posts.
Hmm... How come your blog become PR3 if you dnt know how to optimize it? Well, if you really want to learn how to optimize (website or blogsite), Learn here.
Ain't it the truth. The differences between blogs and websites are disappearing -- at least as far as SEO is concerned.
