What's the problem? It was clearly an accident.

The truck on the left stopped and is trying to block traffic from entering the intersection. The guy who got hit is driving around the vehicle blocking the intersection. The truck created a huge bind spot.

It's a military convoy. They don't stop and exchange insurance information.

It was an accident and even the military have to pay for their damages. Or TechEvangelist, is military the God that should not pay? Or check if they hurt someone in an accident?

Reasonable thing would have been to at least check if the driver of the car they ran over was ok.

wow, inches away from death. That'd be pretty scary sitting in the front seat of that car. This must happen fairly regularly if there's no way to control an intersection and a tank is going full speed into traffic

Tank did stop. They don't need to get out in check. The truck that was trying to block traffic to let the convoy through was military and is the one that did any checking on the people.

Who ever said that reminds me of what illegal immigrants do to Americans I could not agree more.

That is what looters get, when do taxi cab drivers carry stripped wood on the roof of their car? Spin doctors at work as usual.

Actually, I think most of the military convoys are instructed to not stop for any reason whatsoever. This puts them at risk for car bombings. I've heard stories about them having to actually run over people. Many try to stop convoys on bridges and things just so that they can blow the bridge and kill several American Soldiers.

Although I was unable to watch it, the reason I could imagine them not stopping would be for security reasons.

    Ambush scenario:
    1. Combatants send car to "accidentally" collide with oncoming military vehicle (especially with a convoy!).
    2. Military vehicle(s) stops to check on victims.
    3. Combatants drive more vehicles immediately in front of and behind military vehicles, trapping them.
    4. Meanwhile combatants open fire from all sides.

@login, do you somehow feel that this is the tank's fault? I think you should watch it again. The accident was caused by the civilian who went around the truck blocking the intersection. That doesn't make the miliary liable.

Some people find Americans at fault for everything.

Your right, convoy's head straight to their destination & are aware of the tactics used to stop them, they have various techniques to help them reach their destination including brute force.

Can't really say the car driver isn't at fault as well. I mean...if you see a convoy of tanks coming at you, DON'T GO IN THE INTERSECTION! Sheesh :)

Our military is out there to survive. Its a warzone out there. Its amazing that they can stay sane considering what the bush administration put them into. If my uncle was still alive he would be going nuts. He was a war vet but thankfully he didnt serve in vietnam or the gulf (ww2 vet).
