    Hello all,

I'm opening a contest for a small startup company logo. It will be used in our website and also possibly on flyers, business cards and posters, so we will need a re-sizeable printable format as well.

We want a nice and simple logo for a tourism and local development company. The company offers a series of visits in the region of the Alentejo (Portugal). The visits are a bit different from the usual perspective of a guided tour, trying to put the visitor in the life of local craftsmen and experiencing the way of life of its inhabitants. Fee free to ask for more details if you want.

    No specific color scheme.

The logo must contain the word “Andemus”, which is the name of the company.

Payment via pay pal on completion.

We reserve the right to not choose any logo if we don't like them, but i'm sure this will not happen. :)

Competition will remain open for 15 days or until a suitable entry is found.

    Good luck!

    Hello.

First of all, thanks for being the first entry

The logo is nice, however i think the colors from Portugal (nice thought though) doesn't work. Also you could try it with other font, more rural, like handwriting.

Alentejo is a very poor region for Portugal, with many villages and old people, but with fantastic views and landscapes. Maybe this info will help.

Thanks for your entry carlita1177. Could you try the line house concept with a tree or a landscape?

    avalancheCreations, OK.

carlita1177, although it worked, what I meaned was to use the line concept applied to a tree or a landscape or something else but a house :)

I'm not sure if you've found your logo yet, but here's a thought.

Wasn't really necessary but still made me lol.

My entry coming soon, I'm assuming it has to be vector format, as you mentioned it would be resizable.

I'll edit this post and add my entry when I'm done.

    EDIT:
Remember this is completely vector format. This means that you can resize to any dimensions, even billboard size or larger. This is because the file is based on mathematical formulas that calculate each line instead of relying on pixels, which become blocky upon resizing. The logo has been custom made for "Andemus" and upon payment you will receive full copyright to this logo.
