I see people frequently put their Adsense stats in DP Forum Posts. Other members inevitably remind the poster about the Google TOS and that they will get banned etc. My question is: Has anyone out there actually gotten banned for doing so? If they have, how did Google find them? Tracing the site in the sig line? Just seems to me that Google is not going to be able to know what your Publisher ID is just because you post some stats on DP. I know people are going to say “Better safe than sorry†and I tend to agree but I am interested in what the actual risk is.
you will be in risk if your stats are high and catchy do you think google team will waste their time for finding publishers to ban for showing stats for few bucks
I actually think the google team has considerably better things to do which is why I find it a little amusing when everyone throws in a post warning people about the google TOS and not posting your stats.
I certainly understand that point of view and don't disagree with it but I am trying to see if anyone actually has been banned by doing it.
No. I have no interest in anyone being banned for sharing their stats from Adsense. As I have said, I am curious if this is purely a theoretical discussion.
I didn't see anyone get banned to show their stats. But I think do not take the risk, google is out of mind than what we think .
Of course they may take action if it becomes a menace to them-that can be in any form-let your imagination take over
