I know there are many quality directories as listed in Strongest Directory List but some of them are not quality as I thought. Some of them has only x months old and not yet gained any trust from Google. I would like your comments on quality directories in top 10 which worth to pay for. Here is my list 1. Joeant 2. Skaffe 3. Goguide 4. V7N 5. 2YI 6. rubberstamped 7. yahoo 8. business.com 9. wow directory (seems down so often) 10. uncoverthenet (before got banned by Google) What is your list?
I dont really have a top 10. Many of those directories would reject my sites, perhaps that shows their quality. I just submit to paid directories as I come across them, if I think its worth it.
those are good directories, on my list, stpt, aviva, alive, dump, gii will sure be there along with, yahoo dir, business.com, v7n, joeant etc!
I just dont go for only PR when compiling such a list. Editorial status, content etc. are also points of concern. romow.com ewebpages.org gii.in elegantdirectory.com rakcha.com avivadirectory.com directorydump.com stpt.com/directory and a few more.. I always am sad that i dont include my own directory nobledirectory.com to the main list as i still believe that it is not upto that high standard.

Is it possible to find out top ten beautiful women in the world? Same applied to directories too, there's no top ten, not even top 100, there's loads of quality dirs over the internet.
I think that anyone who has a top ten can only have them so rated, simply as per your personal choice, which of course is fine Personally I go for the Directory Owners irrespective of whether I know the owner or not, what I am meaning here is that if a directory is well supported and promoted etc etc Then these will be the ones I will follow
To someone whom gave me negative for "biased, promotional post" - I am not owner of those directories nor put any affiliate link to get you sign up neither. I just put my opinion in here and got no any benefits, so what's your problem? Those directories are well known and even being listed in strongest directories list. This is a webmaster forums and there is the right for discuss about directory in directory section. Too bad
I think aviva and alive are no more the quality directories as they deserved to be (as google penalised them).
