Has anyone else noticed that ads have disappeared from your sites? This morning I checked and "Advertise on this site" was showing across all my sites.

They seem to be coming back slowly. Just wondering if anyone else noticed it too.

It seems to me like it's their problem. I've emailed their support to see if they can at least tell me why.

    Same here!
Are you in US or anywhere else?
I used to think adbrite banned IPs outside US from showing ads.
Adbrite seems to have a lot of problem this month...
not hard to imagine their support email is always busy.

    Same here! Since this morning!

What is going on! I live in canada and its hosted over here. I dont think they banned IP's. I think a big advertiser just dropped. And now all of their publishers will be emailing them, what a disaster indeed. This is not looking good for adbrite. Plus they didnt even send me my 650$ check this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well luckally (maybe unlucky) for me, I don't have much in my account there because I just started with them not long ago.

I'm hoping they are just having some technical problems.

I figured something was up with adbrite since my earnings dropped like 90% over the last few weeks. Just checked again and no ads are showing, and now they aren't paying us.

I'm thinking that adbrite is tanking. Lithman, the last few weeks I had the same problem, earnings dropped by more then 80%... which is redicoulous, how in the hell would we be able to pay our servers to serve the traffic?

My theory is: Adbrite has lost big advertisers, and now just cant pay it's 54 000 websites. It says on their site that they serve 470 million impressions daily. Let think here, some basic math would reveal quite a lot. If the avarage CPM is now 1.5 cents, then they have to pay 470 000 cents per day. Which is 4700$ per day of payout. Now lets be generous and say they keep 50% of the cpm revenue. That tells us that their advertisers in total pay them about 9000$ per day. I really think that they lost that big advertiser and now we're all in trouble. Also, i really think that 4700$ per day for 54 000 websites is really low. It means that on avarage, the adbrite publisher can earn 8 cents with them per day. Thats pretty much what i was earning with my high trafficed site. This is really sad.

Anyone has any ideas or theories to bring to the table?

Well it sounds like a logical theory but I really hope you are wrong. I've got 3 sites running Adbrite right now and I'm only gettting about 300 uniques a day on each as I have just recently started marketing them. So I guess if I have to change PPC providers then so be it. Maybe it will work itself out,

Well, I tried to advertise with them concerning the full page ads and no ads would serve. I think they are having major technical difficulties. If the advertisers can't advertise, then the publishers can't get ads.
